Azerbaijani FM discusses regional situation with Iranian counterpart

On May 13, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov held a phone conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Abbas Araghchi.
During the phone conversation, the sides discussed bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Iran, the current regional situation, progress in the negotiation process in this context, as well as prospects for a diplomatic and political settlement of the situation concerning Iran.
Abbas Araghchi provided detailed information on the ongoing negotiation process.
Jeyhun Bayramov underscored Azerbaijan’s support for efforts to resolve the conflict through peace and negotiations.
The ministers also exchanged views on other bilateral, regional, and international issues of mutual concern.
