Baku, November 25 (AZERTAC). Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov has today met with Chairman of the Council of Europe`s “Ago” Monitoring Group, Romania`s permanent representative to the CoE Stelian Stoian.

Stoian said the group eye-witnessed rapid development process in Azerbaijan and held a number of fruitful meetings here. He stressed the need for implementation of joint projects in the judicial, justice and other fields in order to expand Coe-Azerbaijan cooperation.

Minister Mammadyarov pointed out development process in Azerbaijan is oriented towards European integration, adding there are ample opportunities for effective cooperation in this area. Asked about peace talks on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Minister said resolution must be based on the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan only.
