Azerbaijani minister of industry and energy meets Kazakh delegation
Baku, February 24 (AZERTAC). The Azerbaijani minister of industry and energy Natig Aliyev met with Kazakh delegation led by governor of Aktyubinsk region Arkhimed Mukhambetov.
Mr.Aliyev praised relations between the two countries and activity of Kazakhstan-Azerbaijan economic commission. He said official visits of the two countries` presidents gave impetus to strengthening of the ties even more.
The minister said the commodity turnover between the two countries increased and favorable conditions created for entrepreneurship.
Mr. Mukhambetov said he had already held meetings in four ministries of Azerbaijan. The governor stressed successful development of friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
Mr. Mukhambetov underlined the commodity turnover between the two countries constitutes $ 40 million. Besides, Azerbaijan purchases 100 thousand tons of Kazakh grain, while Kazakhstan mainly exports sugar from Azerbaijan.
The sides also touched on prospects of cooperation in industry and construction of the plants on production of the industrial production.
The agreement on boosting cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan is expected to sign within the visit.
