Azerbaijani MPs attending PACE`s Spring Session
Baku, April 23 (AZERTAC). The Azerbaijani delegation is participating in the five-day spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), which has kicked off today.
The Azerbaijani delegation led by chairman of the committee on international relations and inter-parliamentary relations of the Azerbaijan`s parliament, head of the permanent delegation of Azerbaijan to the PACE Samad Seyidov
The delegation included MPs Sevinj Fataliyeva, Rovshan Rzayev, Aydin Abbasov, Elkhan Suleymanov, Rafael Huseynov, Sabir Hajiyev, Sahiba Gafarova and Fazil Mustafa.
Session participants will hear the progress report of the Bureau and the Standing Committee, elect Vice-Presidents of the Assembly with respect to Luxembourg and Spain.
The participants will also exchange views on impact of the Arab spring, the situation in Syria, the future of the European Court of Human Rights in respect of Belgium, lives lost in the Mediterranean Sea, the protection of freedom of expression and information on the Internet and online media, the situation of internally displaced persons and returnees in the North Caucasus region and other issues.
The Azerbaijani MPs will deliver a speech and share their opinion on the agenda.
