BAKU HOSTS FINAL ‘GOLD LEAGUE’ ON FREESTYLE & GRECO-ROMAN WRESTLING
International Federation of Associated Wrestling STYLES / FILA/ for the first time will hold international tournament among the men and women ‘Gold league’ on Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling in 2006.
Qualifying games (men) will take place in Russia, January 27-29, in Turkey - February 24-26, in Uzbekistan, March 12-14, in Bulgaria - March 18-19, (women) in France, February 10-12, in Sweden, March 3-5.
The winners will take place at the final stage of tournament will take place in Baku, June 24-25.
It should be reminded that main aim of these contests is preparation for the world championship to take place at Heydar Aliyev Sports Concert Complex, Baku 2007. The championship is of licensing character of XXIX summer Olympic Games in Peking, 2008.
