Baku hosts meeting on Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway
Baku, July 18 (AZERTAC). The 4th meeting of the Trilateral Coordination Council on the project of construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway (Iron Silk Way) is running in the Hilton Baku hotel.
The event involves Azerbaijani Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Ramaz Nikolaishvili and Minister of Transport, Shipping and Communications of Turkey Bineli Yildirim.
The sides emphasized that the railway will connect Asia and Europe, and relevant protocol was signed.
The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway will be built and commissioned fully in 2014.
