BAKU TO HOST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INTERCIVILIZATIONAL DIALOGUE
Baku, November 8 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijan`s capital will host an international conference entitled “Intercivilizational dialogue: Azerbaijani perspective” next Wednesday.
The conference is co-organized by the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy and General Secretariat of the Organization of the Islamic Conference to mark the 40th anniversary of the organization.
The 2-day event will bring together about 200 scholars and experts from 41 countries and 3 international organizations, local and foreign officials and representatives of the diplomatic corps.
Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu will also be among participants of the conference.
The event will focus on religious and cultural diversity, interreligious dialogue and Islamic geopolitics.
