BAKU TO HOST INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON REGIONAL COOPERATION
Baku, November 16 (AZERTAC). An international conference entitled “Obstacles to security in the South Caucasus: realities and prospects of the regional cooperation” will take place in Baku, on November 20.
The event will be organized by the Center for Strategic Studies under President of Azerbaijan and International Institute for Strategic Studies of Great Britain.
Issues of security, peace and stability in the South Caucasus, regional conflicts, cooperation in the energy area, integration to the European structures, including the EU will be in the focus of conference.
The event will bring together heads and experts from US Jamestown Foundation, Johns Hopkins University, Heritage Foundation, Belgium Institute of International Relations, University of Hamburg, University of Teheran, University of Economics and Technology of Turkey and many others.
Officials of Azerbaijani government, MPs, heads of the diplomatic corps, representatives of the educational, scientific and non-governmental organizations will attend the conference.
