CHAIRMAN OF NAKHCHIVAN SUPREME ASSEMBLY MEETS IRANIAN VICE-PRESIDENT
Nakhchivan, 5 November (AZERTAC). Chairman of Nakhchivan Supreme Assembly Vasif Talibov has met Iranian delegation led by Vice President Hamid Baghai.
Baghai said the aim of his visit is to define prospects of relations between Iran and Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic in economic, cultural and tourism fields.
Talibov praised current level of relationship, saying Nakhchivan enjoys “effective” economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation with Eastern and Western Azerbaijani provinces of Iran.
Chairman of Nakhchivan Supreme Assembly pointed out the two nations share common cultural and religious values and traditions.
Iran`s Consul General to Nakhchivan Seyyid Mahhamad Tabatabayi and Azerbaijan`s Consul General to Tebriz Aykhan Suleymanov were present at the meeting.
