CIS CLASSICS TO BE TAUGHT IN SORBONNE
Baku, 30 January (AZERTAC). From now on CIS classical literature will be part of the curriculum of France`s famous Sorbonne University. The first volumes of the CIS Classics series published in Moscow were handed over to the university`s library on Friday at the start of the Year of Russia in France festival. The series include ancient literary editions of Azerbaijan, Russia, Belarus, and Kirgizstan. The publication of some 60 volumes as part of the CIS Classics project is prepared by leading specialists from around the former Soviet Union.
