Fourth Eurasian Youth Forum in Lithuania focuses on uncontrolled social media
Baku, May 17 (AZERTAC). On the last day of the Fourth Eurasian Youth Forum "Youth and Social Media" which took place in Lithuania, was unanimously stressed the importance of using a single positive language in an uncontrolled developing social media.
Chairman of the Eurasian Dialogue Platform, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Vladimir Sergeichuk stressed that along with the positive aspects of the Internet and social media, there are also negative aspects.
Sergeichuk stressed the importance of protection young people from the wanton pastime, unjustified posting, and other harmful effects.
Chairperson of International Eurasian Institute for Research, member of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ganira Pashayeva speaking at the forum stressed that the dialogue is not just tolerance; it is also a mutual respect of the representatives of different cultures to each other. Pasahyeva said, “regardless of where it happens, everyone should raise their voice of protest and fight against the facts of ethnic cleansing and those who are engaged in a policy of racial discrimination.
