FOURTH SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE ON “AZERBAIJAN-HUNGARY: DIALOGUE OF CULTURES” ENDED IN BUDAPEST
Budapest, 21 November (AZERTAC). The second part of the fourth international scientific conference on “Azerbaijan-Hungary: dialogue of cultures” took place on November 17-19 here bringing together scientists from 10 countries.
The event held at the initiative of Azerbaijan`s embassy and with support of the State Committee on Diaspora focused on a number of issues including library, history, archeology and ethnography.
Opening the conference, Azerbaijani ambassador Hasan Hasanov praised the fact that the number of participants of the event increase year by year.
The diplomat presented two Hungarian scientists with keepsakes for their contribution to strengthening relationship between Azerbaijan and Hungary.
A congratulatory letter of Hungarian foreign minister Peter Balazs was read out during the event which said “our bilateral relations expand even more thanks to mutual efforts”. “The Azerbaijani people can be proud of its library, architecture, folk music and traditions”, the letter said.
A book featuring articles of the conference participants will be published.
The first part of the event was held on November 3-4.
