Head of OSCE Baku Office visits Sumgait Law and Resource Centre
Baku, April 20 (AZERTAC). ). Head of the OSCE Baku Office Koray Targay visited the Sumgait Regional Law and Resource Centre on Wednesday.
The aim of the visit was to become familiar with the Center, which is supported by the OSCE Office in Baku, and to discuss future prospects of cooperation.
Addressing the event, Koray Targay noted that OSCE Office in Baku has supported the activity of the Center since 2007.
“Our purpose is to help individuals get legal assistance and to increase quality of legal services and resources,” he also added.
A roundtable meeting with participation of NGO representatives has been held during the visit. The participants exchanged views on future cooperation.
Head of the Sumgait Regional Law and Resource Center Asabali Mustafayev also provided information on the center`s activity.
The visit has been organized on the occasion of the Azerbaijan’s 20th anniversary as a participating state in OSCE.
