INCOMING AZERI AMBASSADOR HANDS CREDENTIALS TO IRANIAN FM

Tehran, 9 December (AZERTAC). Newly appointed Azerbaijani ambassador Javanshir Akhundov has presented a copy of his credentials to Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki.

During their meeting Mottaki said the two countries enjoy “successful cooperation”.

The Iranian FM Minister expressed confidence “friendship and cooperation between our countries will continue successfully”.

Akhundov vowed he would make every effort to contribute to expanding bilateral relations during his tenure.

They stressed the significance of boosting political, economic and cultural relations, and also underlined the importance of intensifying reciprocal visits.
