Investments in Turkish Petkim totaled $ 250 million for four years

Baku, May 4 (AZERTAC). The investments in the Turkish petrochemical complex Petkim, in which State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has equity participation, totaled $ 250 million for the four years, SOCAR Turkey Energy executive director Kenan Yavuz told the Turkish edition Bloomberg HT.

SOCAR Investment Management chief, Chairman of Board of Directors of Petkim Vagif Aliyev in his interview to the program said that Azerbaijan's investment in oil sector since 1994 had overcome USD 30bn.

Noting that long-term strategic projects were realized in Turkey, Aliyev noted that the Azerbaijani-Turkish energy corridor corresponded to the interests of both fraternal countries.
