IRANIAN FM MEETS OUTGOING AZERI AMBASSADOR

Tehran, December 3 (AZERTAC). Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki has met outgoing Azerbaijani Ambassador Abbasali Hasanov.

Mottaki praised the role of the two countries` ambassadors in developing relations between Iran and Azerbaijan.

He said the Iranian government was keen to expand the bilateral cooperation with Azerbaijan.

Hasanov thanked the ministry for the support “shown to the embassy during my tenure”.

On the bilateral relations, the ambassador stressed there was great potential to expand them in a wide range of fields.
