MILLI MAJLIS FIRST VICE-SPEAKER MEETS MOLDOVA`s CONSTITUTIONAL COURT CHAIRMAN
Baku, July 15 (AZERTAC). First vice-speaker of Azerbaijan Milli Majlis Ziyafat Asgarov has met today Moldova`s Constitutional Court Chairman Dumitru Pulbere.
Asgarov said relationship between Azerbaijan and Moldova was successfully developing. He added the two countries share the same position within international organizations.
Asgarov noted a memorandum of cooperation signed Wednesday between the Constitutional Courts of Azerbaijan and Moldova would contribute to boosting bilateral legal cooperation.
On the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the vice-speaker said official Yerevan does not honor the UN-adopted resolutions which demand the unconditional withdrawal of the Armenian armed forces from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. He added the international community must exert pressure on Armenia to observe the norms and principles of international law.
Asgarov also thanked the Moldovan government for supporting Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity.
Dumitru Pulbere, in turn, praised the current level of relations between Azerbaijan and Moldova.
He particularly stressed the importance of the memorandum of cooperation signed Wednesday, saying it would contribute to developing bilateral cooperation.
