NURIDA ATESHI: I WILL CONTINUE MY WORK WITH ALL MY MIGHT
The author of book, director of Culture Institute, editor-in chief of the magazine “Yeni Korpu”, doctor of the pedagogical sciences, poet-publicist Nurida Ateshi spoke about activity of the Institute which was founded by her in Berlin in 2003. She noted that Institute expressed the protest against one-sided coverage of Azerbaijan and Karabakh realities in the European press, textbooks and literature. There were some illegal changes of the Azerbaijan map in the geography textbook issued by the German publishing house “Westerman”. Karabakh, integral part of Azerbaijan, was shown as Armenian territory in the map. Following the Institute’s protests German officials agreed to replace the book shortly.
According to N.Ateshi, the book “Translations from Original Text” included her translations into Azeri the poems by famous German classics Gete, Schiller Nietzsche as well as modern German poet Hans Krupp and other poets.
The book was published in the “Nurlan” publishing house in Baku. Now she is preparing the anthology of the Azerbaijani poetry.
