OSCE MG CO-CHAIRS TO VISIT REGION WITH NEW PROPOSALS

Baku, 7 December (AZERTAC). The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs are expected to visit the region with new proposals, deputy foreign minister of Azerbaijan Araz Azimov said.

“It is necessary to understand that preparing of new proposals is in itself a progress in settlement of conflict”, he underlined.

According to Azimov, practically the weekly conducting of discussions is an indicator of dynamics of the process of settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Succession and activation of talks between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan shows that this dynamics is positive.

“The Armenian side has to know that Azerbaijan expects efficiency from discussions and is against the usage of these meetings for protraction”, the deputy foreign minister emphasized.
