Possibilities of creating regional innovation zones in Azerbaijan discussed in Oxford
Baku, October 13 (AZERTAC). The Oxford Summit of Leaders was held in Oxford in the United Kingdom. The event was organized by the European Business Assembly (EBA).
According to the Azerbaijani-Turkish Businessmen Association (ATIB), honorary president of the association Ahmed Erentok made a speech on “Innovation and commercial cooperation between the EU and Eastern and South-Eastern neighbors.”
Stressing the systematic development of Azerbaijan`s economy in his speech, Erentok touched upon the role of the private sector and business innovation in economic development in the country and noted the importance of small and medium-sized businesses.
Besides, ATIB chairman also spoke of the possibilities of creating regional innovation zones in Azerbaijan that has been widely discussed of late.
