PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV OFFERS CONDOLENCE TO HIS IRANIAN COUNTERPART
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today sent a letter of condolence to President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad over the act of terror committed in Iran. The letter says:
“We were deeply shocked upon hearing the news on the loss of many lives caused by the terrorist act committed in your country. We are profoundly angered because of this act, strongly condemn the terror, which is a source of great threat to the humanity, and support the fight against terrorism.
At this difficult time, on my own behalf and on behalf of all the people of Azerbaijan I share your sorrow, express condolence to You, families and friends of those killed and wish speedy recovery to the injured and wounded.
May Allah rest thier souls in peace!”
