ROMANIAN EMBASSY IN BAKU HOSTS FUNCTION TO MARK COUNTRY`S NATIONAL DAY

Baku, December 2 (AZERTAC). The Embassy of Romania in Azerbaijan has organized an official reception to mark the country`s public holiday, National Day.

Speaking at the event, Ambassador Nicolae Ureke informed the participants about the history of the holiday. He briefed the participants on relationship between Romania and Azerbaijan, expressing hope they would be further “developed and strengthened”.

“Today, Romania is a dynamically developing country and a NATO member,” he added.

Deputy Speaker of Azerbaijan`s parliament Bahar Muradova congratulated the Romanian people on behalf of President Ilham Aliyev and wished prosperity to the friendly nation.

“I hope our countries will continue efforts towards strengthening bilateral relations both on a bilateral basis and within international organizations,” she added.

The event was attended by officials, ambassadors and others.
