RUSSIAN ENTREPRENEURS VISITING BAKU

A group of entrepreneurs from the Perm region of Russia started meetings with their Azerbaijani colleagues and representatives of local enterprises. During 2-day meetings, the Russian entrepreneurs will negotiate with about 100 representatives of Azerbaijani enterprises and organizations.Representatives of 15 enterprises from Perm in the spheres of metallurgy, mechanical engineering, oil equipment, household goods and others presented their commodities in the meetings, held in Exhibition-sale center. Vice President of Perm Industrial and Trade Chamber Yelena Mirinova said that these meetings would strengthen ties between Azerbaijan and Perm. Though the Perm region holds the leading place in its country on oil extraction and processing, its commodity turnover with Azerbaijan is on the low level. They constitute only 0.3% of total foreign economical turnover of Russia.Azerbaijan was represented at the exhibition by State Oil Company and Baku conditioner and refrigerator plant.Some Perm enterprises were interested in Azerbaijani agricultural products. Meeting of Russian and Azerbaijani entrepreneurs goes on today.
