SKILLS@WORK CHALLENGE PRESENTS NATIONAL FINALS
Baku, 3 February (AZERTAC). The national finals of Skills@Work Challenge competition took place in Baku. The event was implemented by British Council in partnership with Junior Achievement Azerbaijan, Azercell Telecom MMC and Microsoft Azerbaijan,
The event has brought together 20 teams from 11 vocational and technical colleges to compete on providing the best solution to a proposed business challenge. The selected winner, “Pozitron” team of the Baku Bulbul Vocational Musical School will participate in the regional Skills@Work Challenge competition to be held in Belgrade, Serbia, on April 21-25.
Skills@Work is a project that promotes internationalism within the vocational education and training sector across 18 countries in South East Europe and the UK. Conducted as a joint initiative between British Council and Junior Achievement Young Enterprise, the Skills@Work Challenge is an international competition to encourage young people to use their skills in enterprising and innovative ways, ultimately increasing their employability and entrepreneurial flair.
