SOCAR CEO meets KBR delegation
Baku, August 14 (AZERTAC). SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev held a meeting with the KBR delegation led by Roy Oelking, Group President, Hydrocarbons of KBR Inc.
During the meeting, SOCAR president said that KBR had a long-time effective cooperation with Azerbaijan. He highly appreciated this cooperation, particularly the role of the US-based company in the training of young Azerbaijani specialists.
Informing the guests in detail about the recent achievements of Azerbaijan in the field of oil and gas industry, as well as novelties, Rovnag Abdullayev said SOCAR was one of the main participants of these processes.
He spoke about the large-scale investment projects SOCAR plans to implement in Azerbaijan and other countries.
Roy Oelking thanked for warm welcoming and expressed satisfaction with the discussions held by the experts and his meeting with the company`s leadership. He emphasized that he leads the KBR`s Hydrocarbons Group and informed SOCAR president about the structure and spheres of activity of his group. Oelking highly estimated the regional and global projects carried out in Azerbaijan`s oil and gas industry and said: “We are proud of our participation in the oil and gas operations of Azerbaijan in recent years and our contributions to these achievements.” Appreciating the sustainable development of SOCAR, the guest said they were interested in participation in the company`s new projects.
