TURKEY SUPPORTS OSCE MINSK GROUP MEDIATION EFFORTS

Baku, 2 December (AZERTAC). Unresolved conflicts threaten security and stability in the South Caucasian region, Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu stated at the 17th OSCE Ministerial Council in Athens.

“It requires individual approach to any conflict, and at the same time it is necessary to adhere general principles of the international law”, the Turkish minister underlined.

At his words, observation of territorial integrity is the fundamentals of any settlement.

“In the term of this principle, I would confirm Turkey`s support for the OSCE Minsk Group mediation efforts. We ask both parties to profit the achieved results to reach breakthrough without any delay”, Ahmet Davutoğlu said.
