TURKEY WILL CONTINUE ASSISTING AZERBAIJAN IN STRENGTHENING ITS MILITARY, TURKISH ARMY GENERAL
Baku, November 3 (AZERTAC). Turkish Land Forces Commander, Army General Isik Kosaner has vowed his country would continue military assistance to Azerbaijan. Speaking to Azeri minister of internal affairs, Colonel-General Ramil Usubov on the second day of his Baku visit, Kosaner said “Turkey will spare no efforts to assist Azerbaijan in strengthening and modernizing its armed forces”.
The Turkish Army general expressed confidence development of cooperation “will serve interests of both nations”.
The Azerbaijani minister praised the military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Usubov said the visit of the Turkish Land Forces Commander will have a “positive” impact on development of the bilateral relations.
He expressed assurance the two countries will “effectively” use their potential to further expand the cooperation.
Turkish Ambassador in Baku Hulusi Kilic was present at the meeting.
