TURKMENISTAN, AZERBAIJAN: RELATIONS TO EXPAND
Baku, November 4 (AZERTAC). ‘Relations between Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan will grow stronger’, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov said in his welcoming address to the participants of the Days of Azerbaijan culture in Turkmenistan.
Diverse cooperation and cultural links between our countries are very promising, and the Days, which have been launched today in Turkmenistan, are another evidence of that, President Berdymukhamedov was quoted as saying.
‘From ancient times peoples of Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan were bound in indelible bonds of friendship, identity of history, culture and traditions. Different international cultural events, hosted by our countries, frequently brought together luminaries from both countries, including outstanding scientists, writers, artists, sculptors. It is a proof of huge efforts made by our countries to establish reliable cooperation both in cultural and other spheres. Also lots of bilateral documents were signed last years. The present event is another token of further strengthening of our relations’, President Berdymukhamedov said.
