UNICEF`s Regional Director praises 4th National Forum of Azerbaijani Children

UNICEF Regional Director for Europe and Central Asia (ECA) Afshan Khan praised the children`s active participation in the 4th National Forum of Azerbaijani Children. She met chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Woman and Children Problems Hijran Huseynova who highlighted the importance of the Forum.
Hijran Huseynova informed the UNICEF Regional Director about the works done in the country in the field of protecting the children`s rights. She spoke of progress achieved in strengthening the social protection of the children in the country.
Afshan Khan, in turn, said new ideas of the children are a new step for future activity. She stressed the role of joint work of the civil society with the Azerbaijani state in achieving success.
