Vice-president of Jordanian Senate meets members of Azerbaijani parliament
Baku, April 24 (AZERTAC). A delegation led by vice-president of Senate of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Abdelraouf al-Rawabdeh has today met members of the Milli Majlis Committee on international relations and interparliamentary ties.
Member of the Committee Rasim Musabayov spoke about history of the friendly relations between the two countries.
He noted the efforts of the two countries` presidents in the expansion of bilateral relations.
Musabayov underlined the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two countries` parliaments.
Abdelraouf al-Rawabdeh said Jordan was interested in developing relationship with Azerbaijan in all fields.
They also discussed prospects for developing interparliamentary ties, international cooperation and exchange of experience.
Al-Rawabdeh said Jordan supports settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on the basis of norms and principles of international law, particularly territorial integrity of the states.
