Azerbaijani President allocates AZN 5 million to Sabah FC

President Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order to provide financial support to Sabah Football Club.
Under the presidential Order, the club will receive AZN 5 million from the President’s Reserve Fund under the 2026 state budget following its qualification for the UEFA Champions League league phase.
The Ministry of Finance was instructed to provide the funding specified in Part 1 of the Order, while the Cabinet of Ministers was tasked with addressing the matters arising from the Order.
Azerbaijan’s Sabah FC advanced to the UEFA Champions League league phase after securing a 6–4 aggregate win over Israel’s Hapoel Beer-Sheva in the play-off round.
