Pakistan ambassador: Good news on Azerbaijan’s investments expected soon

“Pakistan has welcomed Azerbaijan’s readiness to invest in mutually beneficial and commercially viable projects, describing it as a testament to the strong economic development taking place in Pakistan. It also reflects the vision of the leadership of the two brotherly countries to anchor bilateral relations firmly in diversified sectors, including trade and investment,” Pakistan’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Qasim Mohiuddin said in an interview with AZERTAC, commenting on Azerbaijan’s intention to invest $2 billion in Pakistan’s economy and the current stage of work in this area.
“Experts from both sides are working hard to move quickly from planning and feasibility studies to realizing concrete projects in different sectors. Without going into specifics, I am confident that we will soon hear good news about further cooperation, particularly in the energy sector, an area in which Azerbaijan has developed considerable expertise. Cooperation in other areas, including defense and connectivity, also remains under active discussion,” the diplomat added.
