Azerbaijan’s men’s chess team clinches another victory in Uzbekistan

The Azerbaijan’s men’s chess team claimed another victory in the sixth round of the 46th Chess Olympiad in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

The Team Azerbaijan defeated Argentina 2.5:1.5. Aydin Suleymanli recorded a win, while Shahriyar Mammadyarov, Rauf Mammadov, and Mahammad Muradli drew their games.

Earlier, Azerbaijan’s men’s team defeated Morocco (4:0) the Philippines (3:1), and Switzerland (3:1), also recording draws with Czechia (2:2), and Romania (2:2), while the women’s team beat Guatemala (4:0) Denmark (4:0), Sweden (2.5:1.5), England (2.5:1.5), and Serbia (3:1).
