Koreans informed about Azerbaijani epics

A lecture highlighting Azerbaijani epics was delivered at Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education Gangseo Library in the capital of South Korea.
Leyla Masimli informed the audience about the ancient Azerbaijani epic “Kitabi-Dede Gorgud”, which she translated into Korean, also highlighting its thousand-year history and its inclusion on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. She spoke about nomadic way of life, hospitality, family values, wedding traditions, and the world-famous Garabagh horses, emphasizing that these traditions continue to live on in the daily life of the Azerbaijani people today.
Guests were treated to traditional Azerbaijani tea alongside pakhlava, shekerbura, and gogal, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The event was organized with the financial support of the Fund for Support to Azerbaijani Diaspora.
