Khojavend celebrates City Day with festive concert program
Khojavend, September 20, AZERTAC
A concert program marking Khojavend City Day was held in the city, jointly organized by the Special Representation Office of the President of Azerbaijan in Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts, and the Ministry of Culture.
Speaking prior to the concert, Emin Huseynov, Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts, congratulated the residents and guests on Khojavand City Day.
The President’s Special Representative noted that to date, nearly 4,500 residents, comprising 1,083 families, have been resettled in the Khojavend district.
“Within just one year, people have returned to eight settlements across the district, to their ancestral homes. They are already living, building, and moving forward with their new lives here,” he emphasized.
The event continued with performances by vocalists from the Rashid Behbudov Azerbaijan State Song Theatre, who presented a selection of popular songs. Renowned artists delivered musical and artistic performances throughout the concert.
