ANKARA HOSTS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON NAGORNO KARABAKH CONFLICT
The event was co-organized by the Turkish Centre for International Relations and Strategic Analysis (TÜRKSAM) and Cooperation Centre of Azerbaijanis and other Turkish language peoples with support of the Council of State Support to NGOs under the Azerbaijan President.
The event brought together MPs, representatives of the political parties, diplomatic corps and experts.
Main aim of the conference is to give the reliable information about reasons of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, and obstacles, which prevent economic development of Azerbaijan.
Secretary General of Turksam Sinan Ogan briefed on importance of the conference. He said all strategic and analytic centers of Turkey inside of TURKSAM created a Coordinating Council to influence upon the international structures.
Chairman of the Cooperation Centre of Azerbaijanis and other Turkish language peoples Ilham Ismayilov told of history of the conflict. He said up to now, UN Security Council, PACE and other influencing international organizations adopted declarations to withdraw Armenian armed forces from occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
The conference participants delivered reports on Nagorno Karabakh problem and addressed to the international community on behalf of over 150 organizations.
