Azerbaijan logged 8 new COVID-19 cases over past week

8 new cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Azerbaijan from August 7 to August 13, while 7 patients have been recovered, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told AZERTAC.

According to the Task Force, two persons have died last week after testing positive for COVID-19.

“The overall confirmed cases in Azerbaijan have reached 832,044, with 821,738 recoveries and 10,295 deaths, while treatment of 11 others is underway.

A total of 7,665,921 coronavirus tests have been conducted in the country so far,” the Task Force added.
