AZERBAIJANI EQUESTRIAN WINS “REPUBLIC CUP” IN TURKEY
The Equestrian Sport Konkur (Show Jumping) type for “Republic Cup”, to celebrate the 82nd anniversary of the Turkish Republic ended in the city of Izmir.
In the tournament, attended by 160 sportsmen from numerous countries, Azerbaijan was represented by Jamal Rahimov.
Showing the best results in all his tries, the Azerbaijani equestrian reached the final to compete with President of Equestrian Sport Federation of Turkey, Armagan Ozkoy in the repeated jumping competitions.
Jamal Rahimov, who beat his rival in this round, too, became the winner of the “Republic Cup”.
It should be reminded that Jamal Rahimov would leave for Belgian capital Brussels to participate in the International Tournament on November 9-13.
