AZERBAIJANIS IN UAE SEND MESSAGE TO US PRESIDENT
Baku, March 6 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijanis living in UAE protested against decision of the US House Committee on Foreign Affairs about adoption of so-called “armenian genocide”.
Head of Azerbaijani society in UAE Samir Imanov said Azeri compatriots sent a message to US President Barack Obama.
The message says everybody in the world is aware that Armenian military subunits committed genocide against Azerbaijanis in Khojaly town, on February 26, 1992. We demand US Congress bend every effort to genocide committed by Armenians eighteen years ago in Khojaly town instead of ratification of the forged document about perpetration of “armenian genocide” 95 years ago.
Deterioration of relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan doesn’t answer interests of US state and people, the message reads. In conclusion, it was expressed confidence that the US Congress will not approve this resolution and adopt fair and right decision.
