Azerbaijan`s Minister of Education meets Korean envoy

Baku, August 25 (AZERTAC). Azerbaijani Minister of Education Misir Mardanov has met Korean ambassador to Azerbaijan Jiha Lee.

During the meeting, Azerbaijani minister spoke about the state care to the field of education in Azerbaijan, saying “significant state programs and vital projects were worked out and implemented here to further the education sector.”

Touching upon the relations between Azerbaijan and Korea, the minister added “number of joint events were conducted as part of these relations”.

Mardanov also noted that nearly 76 Azerbaijanis are studying in Chinese universities.

In is part, ambassador Jiha Lee hailed the successful relations in educational sphere between both countries and stressed necessity for further expansion of relations in the relevant sphere.
