Azeri youth meets Norwegian diplomat

Khizi, February 18 (AZERTAC). Norwegian Counsellor to the country Bjørnar Teigen met with participants of the project Winter Leadership School in Khizi region of Azerbaijan.

The meeting was organized as part of the “Eurovision Day” held in accordance of the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations` Union`s (ASYOU) annual project.

Press secretary of ASYOU Majid Musayev informed Norwegian councellor on the union`s activity stressing ASYOU`s 300 members will operate as volunteers in Eurovision 2012.

Greeting Winter Leadership School`s participators on behalf of Norwegian ambassador Erling Skjønsberg, Bjørnar Teigen said that his country is interested in expanding cooperation in the fields of education, economy and culture with Azerbaijan.

Norwegian diplomat also praised achievements of Azerbaijani young people and expressed his assurance on the high level organization of Eurovision 2012 Song Contest in Baku.
