“AZERTAC IS THE MOST RELIABLE NEWS SOURCE IN AZERBAIJAN”, TGF PRESIDENT
Baku, July 26 (AZERTAC). AZERTAC is the most reliable news source in Azerbaijan. We are keen in receiving news from this Agency, visiting Baku, Atilla Sertel, President of the Journalists Federation of Turkey (TGF) said.
TGF president spoke of brotherly and cordially welcoming in Azerbaijan, expressed pleasure for participation in the 135th anniversary festivities of the Azerbaijan national press in Baku.
The Turkish guests have visited many institutions where they discussed development of mutual ties between the media of both countries. In Azerbaijan they met with media captains and NGO- leaders.
The guests held a series of meetings at the President Administration, heads of journalist unions, at the Azerbaijan Press Council, to discuss development of cooperation of the journalists of fraternal countries.
The Turkish journalists agreed on exchange of experience and data to promote technical development and modern design of newspapers in Azerbaijan.
As earlier informed, TGF leaders have inked an agreement with Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency (AZERTAC) to disseminate the Azerbaijan-related news in Turkish newspapers. The major goal of the Agreement is to assist AZERTAC to spread its news in wider scope.
According to the TGF delegates, AZERTAC is the most reliable news maker in the country and TGF will try to give wider space to the information received from AZERTAC in the Turkish newspapers, and through Turkey to thousands of foreign citizens living here, to bring to everybody the truth about Azerbaijan.
TGF president praised cooperation of the Anatolian Agency of Turkey and AZERTAC, their joint activity in some questions.
A. Sertel noted importance of this visit and promised to arrange a number of actions, photo exhibitions, round-tables exposing Armenian savageries against Azerbaijanis and Turks.
