AZERTAC, Xinhua hail exemplary partnership

The partnership between the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) and China’s Xinhua News Agency stands out as exemplary.
The cooperation was highlighted during a meeting between Vugar Aliyev, AZERTAC Chairman of the Board, and Wei Kang, Deputy Director of Xinhua’s Eurasia Bureau.
AZERTAC and Xinhua have maintained a partnership for 23 years, implementing numerous joint projects. Both agencies continue to successfully conduct information exchange and provide mutual support within international organizations and the global media landscape. The collaboration reflects the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and China, positively impacting various domains, including media and information exchange.
The Xinhua official noted an increased focus on Azerbaijan and the region, with plans to expand its Baku bureau. The meeting also emphasized the importance of jointly combating fake news and disseminating objective information about the two countries.
The Chinese delegates concluded the visit by familiarizing themselves with AZERTAC’s activities and discussing other issues of mutual interest.
