BAKU HOSTS AZERBAIJAN-POLAND BUSINESS MEETING
Baku, June 29 (AZERTAC). An Azerbaijan-Poland business meeting has been held today here.
The event was co-organized by Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) and Polish Embassy with support of the Economic Development Ministry.
The meeting brought together Azerbaijani and Polish officials, more than 20 businessmen representing various fields, including construction, industry, energy, oil and chemistry.
Azerbaijan`s deputy economic development minister Niyazi Safarov and Polish deputy foreign minister Paweł Wojciechowski addressed the meeting highlighting the opportunities to expand economic cooperation between the two countries. They stressed the importance of business forums and meetings for development of bilateral cooperation.
Vice-president of AZPROMO Rufat Mammadov spoke of the business and investment climate in Azerbaijan.
As part of the meeting, Azerbaijani and Polish businessmen had bilateral discussions regarding prospects for economic cooperation.
Azerbaijani ambassador to Poland Hasan Hasanov and Polish envoy Kshishtof Krayevski were present in the meeting.
