Chinese ambassador visits Azerbaijan University of Languages

Baku, August 31 (AZERTAC). Chinese ambassador to Hong Tsuin visited Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) on Thursday, where he met Rector of the Facility, MP and Professor Samad Seyidov.

They exchanged views on the opening of the sinology specialty in the AUL, establishing of the Chinese cultural and language centre, as well as exchanging of teacher and students between the AUL and Chinese Higher Schools.

Mr. Seyidov noted that AUL in its activity attached great importance to cooperation with the Chinese Embassy to the country.

The MP also noted that sinology specialty opened at the AUL`s regional studies and international relations department, adding 10 students enrolled to this department and presented the list to the ambassador.

Hong Tsuin, in turn, stressed necessity for development of relations with the Facility and expressed importance of the opening Chinese culture and language centre.

Following the meeting, Chinese ambassador became familiar with the Information Resource Complex of the AUL.
