CHINESE NATIONAL HOLIDAY DEDICATED
In his speech, Ambassador of China to Azerbaijan Mr. Tsan Siyun stated that People’s Republic of China was established on October 1, 1949, and in the passed 54 years, it has become a mighty state.
He stated that after President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev’s visit to China in 1994, relations between the two countries were quickly developing.
The First Deputy Chairman of Milli Majlis Arif Rahimzade dwelt on the history of the Azerbaijani-Chinese relations, conformity of two peoples’ cultures and noted that after Azerbaijan gained independence, relations between the two countries were highly developing.
The official reception was attended by the Deputy Chairman of Milli Majlis Ziyafat Askarov, Ambassador of a number of foreign countries in Baku and other officials.
