DECREEOF PRESIDENT OF AZERBAIJAN REPUBLIC
“On Iodination of Sault for Mass Preventive Health Care against Iodine deficiency”
With a view to insure execution of the Law of Azerbaijan Republic “On Iodination of Salt for Mass Preventive Health Care against Iodine Deficiency” I hereby decree:
1. It shall be determined that powers of “relevant executive body” envisaged by Article 6.2 of the Law “On Iodination of Sault for Mass Preventive Health Care against Iodine Deficiency” making an examination of salt samples to establish the correspondence of the iodine salt quality and safety to standards and requirements are exercised by the State Agency of Azerbaijan Republic on Standardization, Metrology and Patent, and that of establishing the safety characteristics of the iodine salt – by the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan Republic.
2. The present Decree comes into effect upon signing.
