DINARA GIMATOVA WINS ALFRED VOGEL PRIZE
Azerbaijani gymnast Dinara Gimatova has won “Alfred Vogel” prize at the International Rhythmic Gymnastics tournament in Deventer, Holland. With 93.058 pts garnered, Gimatova bested all her contenders and took the first spot, press-service of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation said. Because of injury, however, she could not compete in the Deventer Grand Prix competitions, where Azerbaijan will be represented by Anna Gurbanova. Her rivals will be Anna Bessonova, Natalya Godunko from Ukraine, Olga Kapranova, Vera Sesina (Russia), Inna Zhukova (Belarus).
The Grand Prix in Deventer will end on October 31.
