Élène Levasseur: The main challenge of modern cities is tackling climate change

Baku, May 22, AZERTAC

“A key challenge for modern cities is both climate change mitigation and addressing the housing crisis,” Élène Levasseur, a researcher on flood resilience for the non-profit group Architecture Without Borders Quebec, who participated in the 13th Session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13), told AZERTAC.

Élène Levasseur emphasized the importance of building more partnerships to address climate change, saying it is essential to work with governments, local organizations, and community groups.
