Baku, July 30 (AZERTAC). The Eurasia American Cultural Association and American-Turkish Friendship Association (ATFA) hosted an Iftar Party for Azerbaijanis living in Washington.
Executive Director of the ATFA Ahmad Ilhan thanked Azerbaijanis for supporting the Turkish community. He stressed the necessity of strengthening relations between the Diasporas even more. He wished participants welfare in Holy Ramadan and called upon them to raise awareness of the USA about cultures of the Turkish-speaking countries.
Executive Director of the Eurasia American Cultural Association Nadir Shafiyev said the Association makes efforts to establish relations between the Turkish-speaking nations covering the territories from Azerbaijan to China and the communities in America. During the Novruz holiday, the Americans closely familiarized themselves with the rich cultural heritage of the Turkish-speaking communities. “This Iftar was also hosted to unite all Turkish-speaking communities,” Shafiyev added.
